Lesotho National Human Development Report

The Lesotho NHDR 2014/2015 was the result of a joint project by the UNDP Lesotho Country Office and the Government of Lesotho. The project supported a survey to assess the Status of the Youth (2012) in Lesotho, which formed a foundation for more robust research on youth and development, in the context of human development.

We felt honoured to help produce the Lesotho NHDR. Our work involved producing several look-and-feels, editing the document, and recreating tables and charts. Dozens of infographics were created, highlighting key points per chapter. Summary graphics were presented as double page spreads at the end of each chapter.

Data cleanup and analysis, advanced mapping techniques, information design, atlas look-and-feels, computing graphs, lay-out for print and web.

A 216-page report

The National Human Development Report was rich in tables and graphics.

A bright colour palette throughout, and design illustrations from students at the Limkokwing University of Technology in Lesotho were used for chapter openers.

Each of the 10 chapters were summarised graphically.
