Lushomo is a unique combination of data analysts, communication strategists, creatives and science communicators. We make a great team.
Thomas ScalwayFounder/Lead Consultant
Tom graduated with a degree in Communications and then a Masters in Medical Anthropology from Lancaster University (UK). For 15 years, he worked as a senior communication consultant for UNAIDS, WHO, UNFPA, USAID, AED, DFID and other organisations. He was struck by the fact that programmes were being planned without sufficient evidence, and organisations were battling to gather the information that would help them advocate for causes or measure their progress. To fill this gap, he set up Lushomo.
Tom loves: finding patterns in data, sailing the Atlantic Ocean on his boat (also called Lushomo) and climbing mountains.
